The Travelling Travel Agent became in existence in June of 2009. With teachers becoming slaves for politics, I decided to get my travel license in the summer of 2008. According to online surveys and polls, those who made the most money working online at home were travel agents. I could see it be true, but because of so many fears, people rarely travel as much as they used to. Yes, some will blame the economy, some will blame safety. Those are both idiotic excuses. You have a better chance of getting in a car crash or even lightning than coming face to face with a terrorist. Yes, even after the failed bombing in Detroit.
The travel industry is at its lowest in quite a long time – I want to say the early 80′s, but I am not sure. So why do I say the time to travel is now? Airfares are at all time lows on many airlines. Airlines are still the safest means of travel. It seems like the American people are paying more attention to possible terrorists than our own government anyway. Many major cities are offering unbelievable discounts. Entrance prices for Disney and Universal are pretty good. Hotels in Orlando and Las Vegas are extremely cheap. I don’t mean like that stupid Priceline commercial where it says he can get you a hotel for $99 on the strip. I can get you almost any hotel on the Vegas strip for that and so can you. I can actually get a few under $50 and many times under $25. Tell Priceline to beat that.
Cruise Lines are also at an all time low. With online access, so many people think reserving a cruise online is a good idea. This is not always true. What online companies do not tell you is the bottom line including port charges and tips once your on the cruise. With a knowledgeable travel agent, you eliminate most problems. A good travel agent will make sure he/she has every possible thing you need before getting on a cruise.

- Tower of London
The photo to my right is the Tower of London. I reserved a plane through London, onto Amsterdam, onto Kiev in 2003. The ticket was cheaper, plus my friend needed to get a Ukrainian visa while in Amsterdam. We stayed one night in London at a hotel next to the Tower of London. People say the food here is bad. It was ok, but nothing special. While staying at this hotel, we went on the Jack the Ripper tour and got lost because it wasn’t a round trip. I’m used to tour guides returning you to the exact place we started from. After a stroll around London also finding the London Bridge, we finally made it back to our hotel near the Tower of London.
