California

Movie stars, beaches, Beverly Hills is what I think of when I think of California. Is there more to this state than what is portrayed on movies and television? I've been 2 hours from Los Angeles, but have never quite made it there, or anywhere in California. I hear there are many things to do beyond the realm of fame. Can anyone prove this to me?
