A1A Florida Adventure Friday to Friday Tour:

Travel along Florida’s popular beach route A1A for the adventure of a lifetime. After meeting at Jacksonville, Florida airport, you will be transferred to the nation’s oldest city, Saint Augustine where you will stay for 2 nights. After getting set up in your hotel, you will visit the lighthouse on Anastasia Island, then a dinner reception at our hotel. The following morning we will visit Castillo San De Marcos, shop on your own on St. George Street or swim in the Northeast Florida beaches.

Cocoa Beach

We will then depart from St. Augustine down to Cape Canaveral where the Space Shuttle launches and visit the Kennedy Space Center, then travel 3 miles down the road to Cocoa Beach where we will spend one night, a popular surf destination, the home of Ron Jon’s Surf Shop and also where “I Dream of Genie” was filmed.

Please do not mistake him for Melman :)

Once digesting our breakfast, lions, giraffes, and monkeys await us down to West Palm Beach where your tour director will do commentary through a live drive through Safari. We will also be able to get out and walk around to buy souvenirs and view other animals after the commentary. Commentary may be on CD as we enter each animal’s realm. We will stay 1 night between West Palm and Fort Lauderdale.

Continuing southward, we will veer off A1A and head into the mysterious Florida Everglades where alligators may smile for your cameras. The Florida Everglades is home to many alligators, crocodiles, manatees, bald eagles, panthers and black bears just to name a few. We will hop on an airboat as your local Everglades guide will tell you all about it.

Would you like to see marine mammals and more in their home environment on one of the most famous of the Florida Keys? Between Key Largo and Key Islamorada, a place to see dolphin and sea lion shows exists where you can even have a dolphin as your guide on a bottomless boat ride. It’s Theater of the Sea.

7-mile bridge

After these comical animals fulfill your laughter, you’re headed to the most southern tip of the continental United States. We will cross the infamous 7-mile bridge in Key Marathon ending up in Key West where you will have your final adventure, but an awesome adventure. There is so much to do here, you will choose on your own. A list will be given of things to do in Key West with your final itinerary. We will depart in the morning to Miami airport for your ride home.
