From Florida to New York to California and everywhere in between, beautiful beaches line the coastlines of the United States. Sometimes; however, many of our beaches have been polluted, eroded, and destroyed by those who don’t care or those who are uneducated about the importance of our beaches and the life that surrounds them. For example, Manatees eat sea grass, but boats destroy sea grass unknowingly, yet sea grass is a major importance of oxygen.
A lot of people try and do the right thing by putting fishing line in garbage cans that line the beaches, but this is a danger because animals such as raccoons will get into the garbage and place the lines all over along with plastic bags, which can easily destroy an animal’s habitat. So how do we combat this? Get involved with your local county to see how you can help. Or contact me at info@thetravellingtravelagent.com and I can send you directly to people who are involved in volunteer groups on a daily basis in both Florida and California.
As a travel escort living in Florida, I can take families of 4 to certain beaches that need clean-up. If you live in the California area please contact me to assist you in the right direction. If you live somewhere not on the coastline and are interested in helping, I can make very affordable travel arrangements for you. You could help clean up, then relax on the beach feeling great about your success and knowing that you made a difference. Even if you want to help any coastlines, traveling from state to state, you can get all of your travel arrangements here. This is also a great opportunity for those in college needing community service hours or local schools wanting to take an educational field trip. Please visit the links below for more information.
